ONLINE THERAPY
Perhaps you've recently been through a major life change, such as an international move, the loss of a loved one, a new job or a new chapter in your studies. Or maybe nothing dramatic has happened, but something still feels off. You feel stuck, disconnected, like you've lost the thread of who you are. Not in crisis exactly, but not quite yourself either. You just need someone to talk to — someone who will listen without judgement, and help you make sense of what you're carrying..
You don’t have to figure it out alone.
I will meet you right where you are. Literally.
I provide online therapy to clients internationally, which means that wherever you are in the world, help is accessible. Expats often have difficulty accessing high quality mental health care in their native language. Busy schedules, travel, and time zones shouldn't stand between you and good support. Online therapy means you can connect from wherever you are, whether that’s your home, a hotel room, a private office. It also offers a level of discretion that a traditional setting can't: no waiting rooms, no chance encounters. And on the days when all you can manage is a call from under the blankets, that's okay too. This format is designed to meet you exactly where you are.
If you're ready to start — or just curious — I'd love to hear from you.
Hello and Welcome!
My name is Nicola (she/her), I am an experienced therapist offering person-centred psychological counselling and therapy to adults and adolescents. I work in English, French and German. As an expat and a third-culture kid myself, I understand the unique challenges faced by expats, third culture kids, international students, adolescents, and parents navigating difficult transitions and cross-cultural environments. I also strive to offer a safe, inclusive, and affirming environment for the LGBTQ+ community as well as for neurodivergent individuals.
I am currently based in Dresden, Germany, and you can find me online on the other side of this screen, sometimes alone, but often accompanied by my dog Puddles or one of my two cats, Bella and Fenn, who love to provide unsolicited editing assistance on my keyboard.

WHAT I OFFER
I offer a safe, confidential space where you can explore, express and process whatever you're carrying — with warmth, compassion, and zero judgement.
My style is warm, authentic and direct, though never confrontational. I'll gently challenge you, offer honest feedback, and help you recognise and work through the patterns that may be holding you back. Always with empathy, always with respect for where you are and what you're working towards.
Our work is collaborative. You bring the lived experience — the unique knowledge of what it feels like to be you. I bring three decades of professional expertise and a genuine commitment to understanding your particular needs and goals. Together, we work toward you feeling truly heard, validated, and accepted — because that's where real change begins.
Whether you need a space to unload and find clarity, or you're ready to go deeper and make sense of the past, I'm here.
THERAPY WITHOUT JUDGEMENT
NEURODIVERSITY-AFFIRMING THERAPY
The world is a complicated place, and when you experience it in a neurodivergent way, the everyday stresses that everyone faces can feel relentlessly amplified. The exhaustion of constantly adapting, masking, or simply trying to keep up can be overwhelming, and over time it can quietly feed feelings of depression, isolation, and the sense that you're always just on the edge of coping.
You deserve a space where you don't have to explain yourself, mask, or justify how you experience the world.
Through both personal family experience and continued professional training, I have worked to create a genuinely inclusive, affirming environment for neurodivergent individuals — specifically those who are gifted, have ADHD or dyslexia, or are on the autism spectrum. Whatever you're navigating — life transitions, relationships, work, or simply the weight of daily life — you're welcome here exactly as you are.
LGBTQ+ FRIENDLY SPACE
I am a cisgender, straight female, whose queer loved ones have taught me the importance of educating myself about the experience of being part of the LGBTQ+ community. While it hasn’t been my lived experience, I recognise the discrimination and subsequent exhaustion that many face daily. Sadly, many mental health issues are caused and aggravated by the shame the world imparts on those who do not conform to the expected version of their gender or sexuality. My aim is to support LGBTQ+ individuals and their families, in a therapeutic space that is respectful, confidential, informed and, most importantly, safe.
